What you can do
- Fill in the table step by step or by clicking question marks: first the binary column, adding 1 each time, then the sums of powers of 2.
- Three questions lead to conclusions about even and odd numbers, powers of 2 and sums of powers of 2, with highlighting in the table.
- Extend the table up to 31, 32, 63 or 64, write the powers as 2ⁿ, or mark the number system (1101₂, 13₁₀).
- In Convert, type a decimal or binary number or click the bits, and see a sum of powers of 2 and repeated division by 2.
- In Practice, convert random numbers from binary to decimal, the other way round or mixed, with checking, the method on request and a score.
