What you can do
- Choose from 4 to 16 bits and set the numbers by clicking bits or typing a decimal number, then add column by column.
- For each column the app shows the working and an explanation, and highlights the rule in use in the bit addition table.
- In Practise mode, enter the carries and the digits of the sum for a random task, then check your answer or show the correct sum.
- Show or hide place values (also as powers of 2), leading zeros and the decimal values of the numbers.
- Download the sum as a PNG with a white or transparent background.
